Fall 2019 CKEP Event - Nami Island (남이섬)

During your exchange here at CAU, the Global Ambassadors (GLAM) will host several events where you can participate to experience different parts of South Korea. They are called CKEP events. So far, there has been two CKEPs. To be able to participate, you'd have to sign up since they only accept a limited amount of students. It is SUPER competitive, the online submission form is usually only open for 1~2 minutes so, if you want to participate in these events, be fast!!

I missed the sign up for the first event where they visited the Han River (한강) since I didn't know how competitive it was. Luckily, I got a seat in the second one where we got the chance to visit Nami Island! I'm so happy that I got the opportunity to visit Nami Island because it was absolutely beautiful. The nature, the trees and the landscape were amazing and the atmosphere was very cozy and romantic. 

For every event, there is also a photography contest where you can win prizes. All you have to do is take a photo during the event and upload it on your Instagram. The GLAMs will then vote 3 pictures that they like the most. I'm not sure what the prizes are, but decided to participate in the competition anyway :)

This event is also a chance for you to get to know more friends and a perfect opportunity for you to get to know the GLAMs! Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to be with my GLAM but I was with two other GLAMs during this event and had a blast with them. They were so sweet and nice towards us and made sure that we had a great time. Thank you Olivia and Harry! 💛

That's it for the 2nd CKEP event! It was definitely worth it and I had such a blast. If you ever get a chance to visit Nami Island or any other CKEP evets, don't hesitate! You won't regret it at all. The GLAMs will make sure that you'll have a good time :)
